St James’ Place of Welcome
Our Place of Welcome has had to be suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are keeping in touch with each other via our telephone chain and will resume Place of Welcome in person just as soon as we are able to.
Welcome to St James’ Place of Welcome, your local Place of Welcome!
St James’ Place of Welcome belongs to a growing network of Places of Welcome across the Midlands and throughout England that are run by community groups who want to make sure that everyone has a place to go for conversation and a cup of tea if and when they need it.
Each Place of Welcome is slightly different, but they are all open to everyone and offer:
· Friendship and hospitality
· Regular opening at the same time each week
· Free refreshments
· Local knowledge about the neighbourhood
